THE OVERSTREET COMIC BOOK PRICE GUIDE

Since 1970, only one comic book price guide has been dubbed "the Bible" for casual and die-hard collectors alike. While others have come and gone, The Official Overstreet Comic Book Price Guide has become the premiere reference source for the hobby, and it covers more than a century of comic book history!

Each year, the Guide includes Market Reports, Key sales, Well-researched pricing, In-depth historical information, Tips on grading and collecting, The most complete record of comic books from the 1500s to the present, and special sections on Big Little Books, Promotional Comics, the Pioneer Age, Victorian Age, and Platinum Age, as was as the comprehensive section – the origin of the modern comic book

NEW FOR 2006!

We’re now taking reservations for The Official Overstreet Comic Book Price Guide #36. With Direct Market covers by artists George Pérez and John K. Snyder III and a bookstore cover by Jim Lee (which will also be seen on our big spiral-bound edition), this is going to be the biggest year ever for the Guide. A totally redesigned front section, bold new feature articles, and the pricing you’ve been able to count on for 35 years make this edition one you’ll want to be part of! The Official Overstreet Comic Book Price Guide #36 is scheduled to go on sale in April 2006.

THE OVERSTREET COMIC BOOK PRICE GUIDE #35

The Overstreet Comic Book Price Guide has reached its landmark 35th edition! More than any other single publication, this book has helped defined comic book collecting as we know it today, and it’s not about to rest on all the accolades its received in its three and a half decades. This year, the Guide delves further and broader into the reaches of comics history with articles on the earliest comics (from the 1500s!), comics in schools (in the 1920s!), the 70th anniversary of Little Lulu, the 25th anniversary of New Teen Titans #1, the 20th anniversary of Crisis on Infinite Earths, and the history of Iron Man from the beginning to the present.

This edition of The Overstreet Comic Book Price Guide #35 was offered with a choice of two covers: a stunning recreation of Tales of Suspense #39 by John K. Snyder III (Doctor Mid-Nite) and a fond remembrance of Little Lulu by the beloved, late Lulu artist John Stanley. The Little Lulu hard cover sold out on the day the Guide was released. The soft cover version sold out two days later. The Iron Man hard cover sold out in June 2005, but the soft cover Iron Man version is still available.
