THE
OVERSTREET COMIC BOOK PRICE GUIDE #35
The Overstreet Comic Book Price
Guide has reached its
landmark 35th edition! More than any other single
publication, this book has helped defined comic book collecting
as we know it today, and it’s not about to rest on all the
accolades its received in its three and a half decades. This
year, the Guide delves further and broader into the
reaches of comics history with articles on the earliest comics
(from the 1500s!), comics in schools (in the 1920s!), the 70th
anniversary of Little Lulu, the 25th anniversary of
New Teen Titans #1, the 20th anniversary of
Crisis on Infinite Earths, and the history of Iron Man from
the beginning to the present.
This edition of The
Overstreet Comic Book Price Guide #35 was offered with a
choice of two covers: a stunning recreation of Tales of
Suspense #39 by John K. Snyder III (Doctor Mid-Nite)
and a fond remembrance of Little Lulu by the beloved, late Lulu
artist John Stanley. The Little Lulu hard cover sold out on the
day the Guide was released. The soft cover version sold
out two days later. The Iron Man hard cover sold out in June
2005, but the soft cover Iron Man version is still available. |
