Arnold is a lifetime Baltimorean who has been with Gemstone since December of 1995, serving as Research Editor, Production Manager, and Managing Editor. Departing to pursue academic interests (see below), Arnold was asked to return and take up the role of Editor after Benn Ray was torn apart by rabid wolves (Just kidding, Benn is fine. He moved on to greener pastures...although some say he was abducted by aliens and...never mind).

Arnold is a 27-year-old collector of some considerable pop culture knowledge, and played a major role in the design, layout and assembly of both editions of Hake's Price Guide To Character Toy Premiums, as well as putting his distinctive stamp on the redesign of The Overstreet Comic Book Price Guide and The Overstreet Toy Ring Price Guide. Arnold regularly writes Waxing Nostalgic--his editorial column on collecting and whatever else pops into his head--for the FAN Universe website. He also writes articles for other Gemstone publications, including the price guides and Comic Book Marketplace.
